Travelers, Campers, And The Messy Issue

Music festivals and outdoor events are supposed to be an enticing and fun social gathering. With a bunch of festivals mentioned, party people are going to be so thrilled and attendance will surge. If you’re one of them, then you must be prepping for the big event/s.

A sad fact, though, is that how ridiculously most of the travelers who camp out just leave or dump their tents on the camping ground after the music festival is over. When you walk on an abandoned camping grounds after the music festival is over, it seems like the world crumbles from the end of the world. You see used, destroyed tents, camping chairs, booze, plastic trash, and liters just everywhere. It’s extremely messy, grueling, and simply unacceptable.

There’s a common misconception that used tents that were left will be given to the homeless, but that’s not truly the case according to experts. Thousands of tents just end up in landfills because they can’t be used. We hope you’re not like them.

What you can do as a camper in a music festival is to not leave your liters in the campsite, bring them with you or put them in a proper trash bin. Also, you should bring a sturdy camping tent that you can use over and over. One less dump is the first step to becoming a responsible camper party-goer.

    Recommended Music Festival Tents

If you are going to participate in a music festival or an outdoor event and planning to stay there for quite some time, then a camping tent is a must. Many of festival campers complain about their tents not having a good shade and lacking ventilation. So, some of them just use covers just to protect them from the sun’s rays. Campers in this hot weather can easily get sunburned, which is a hassle considering the crowd you bump with during the fest. Thus, after the event, one of the reasons they dump their tent is because it’s not that reliable.

The crowded summer heat can be fatal and really kill your vibe, so some people are choosing tents that are not only durable, rainproof, and windproof, but also has a cooling system and can deliver shade from the brightness of the sun. Here are some of the recommended tents you can use in your next music festival camping.

    Enkeeo Dome Tent

    Enkeeo Dome Tent

The Enkeeo Dome Tent is perfect for summer outdoors with its high-density ventilation mesh, the inner. Its flysheet is larger than the inner one so it creates a double shelter acting both as rainproof and sun proof. It’s an ideal shed in most outdoor activities and events. There are also interior pockets to store your valuables.

    CORE Instant Dome Tent

     Core Tent

The CORE Tent has a mesh ceiling that allows hot air to escape especially during summer. The adjustable intake vent also draws cool air from the ground. Its fabrics can also withstand the sun’s rays and serves as a protective shield for your skin. Its H20 Block Technology features water repellant fabrics, including rain-resistant window seals and door. The rainfly is also fully taped.

Zomake Pop Up Tent 4 Person

     Zomake Tent

The Zomake Pop Up Tent can be used both for regular camping or summer music festival camping. It is also great for sun shelter because of its durable anti-UV polyester fabric that provides UPF 50+ sun protection. Ventilation is not a problem with this tent as it houses two mesh windows, two mesh doors, big roof mesh window, and high-density mesh net to bring cool air in and keep insects out.

    Toogh Camping Sun Shelter Tent

     Toogh Tent

Toogh Sun Shelter Tent is made of waterproof Oxford fabric and silicone coating. Its dense net provides better ventilation and protection against insects. Its mesh windows let the cool air come in. This is definitely ideal for a summer music festival because of its sturdy material that provides extra protection from the sun.

    ALPHA CAMP Dome Tent

     Alpha Camp Tent

This Alpha Camp Tent is made with 100% Polyester, eco-friendly anti-UV coating to protect you from extreme sun’s heat. It also has sealed flysheet seam to block moisture. To promote superior ventilation, there are two zippered windows and mesh back. It can also withstand strong wind because of its high-grade fiberglass poles.

    Siesta4 Tent

     Siesta4 Tent

Siesta4 is not your typical kick starter, 4-person durable and lightweight polyester tent. One feature of it is the waterproof fly fabric that can protect you from the rain and shield UV light. This is the reason why it’s darker inside the tent even under the sun. It’s also wind-resistant due to aluminum poles and pole sleeves. You can test it in the desert winds during the Burning Man. What’s surprising, though, is that it has two built-in USB-powered fans to make the inside cooler even under the summer heat. They claimed that Siesta4 is cooler than your regular tents.

As fun as joining and partying in these music festivals, let’s also be responsible enough to pack our things up and leave no trash and used tents on the camping grounds. Another way that we can help become responsible is by buying a reliable tent so that you won’t have to leave it and can still use it for your next outdoor events. When in festivals, remember to party now and clean after.
